The Corporate Committee for Library Investment (CCLI) is an organization of businesses of all kinds united by the common belief that America’s libraries are business-building, job-creating, workforce-preparing engines of the U.S. economy in every corner of the country. CCLI will work to maximize federal funding for the nation’s libraries by educating Congress and other federal policymakers about the extraordinary value to businesses and taxpayers of federal investment in America’s libraries of all kinds.

CCLI thanks the 47 United States Senators who answered the call in our May 17 letter to sign important bipartisan letters of support for two critical federal library funding sources: the Library Services and Technology Act and the Innovative Approaches to Literacy program.

We will be writing to Congress again soon but don’t wait until then to join us in defending federal library funding and all that it makes possible – socially and economically – for the nation and communities and businesses across America.
